Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes. Your appointment time is reserved just for you. Late cancellations or missed appointments leave a gap that could have been offered to another patient. We require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed entirely, may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Do you have reception?
No. Mountain Coast Registered Massage Therapy is owned and operated by a solo practitioner. This means phone calls, text messages, and emails are returned between treatments or at the end of the day. Your patience and understanding are truly appreciated — you are a priority!
How do I access the clinic?
Park in the lot behind the building at 20727 Willoughby Town Centre Dr, Building C. Take the elevator to the second floor. You will be met at the building reception area shortly before your scheduled appointment.
Is parking available nearby?
Yes! There is a parking lot directly behind the building that offers 2 hours of free parking. To avoid a parking ticket, make sure to register your vehicle's license plate with EasyPark. You can do this at the EasyPark kiosk or by scanning one of the QR code signs located in the lot.
Do you offer direct billing to extended health benefits plans?
Yes, direct billing is available for most extended health insurance providers. Please check in advance to confirm whether your specific plan is supported.
Do you offer ICBC direct billing?
No, we do not offer direct billing to ICBC. If treatment is related to an ICBC claim, you will be responsible for payment at the time of your appointment and can submit your receipt to ICBC for reimbursement.
What to expect on my first appointment?
Your first visit will include a review of your medical history, a discussion of your treatment goals, assessment, and hands-on treatment. If needed, an overview of relevant anatomy will be provided. You’ll also receive personalized home care recommendations to support your recovery.
What do I wear?
Wear whatever is comfortable for you, whether that’s pyjamas or office attire, you're welcome to come as you are. Your therapist will explain how to prepare for your massage during the intake process and answer any questions you may have.
